Doubters, be fair warned!
BIRMINGHAM IS A BETTER HOLIDAY DESTINATION SPACE. And space is big, boring and full of idiots, so in effect much like Birmingham. The New York times recently declared Brum the 19th best place to visit in 2012, and it’s all about food. Not about any other redeeming feature of the city, but about where you can chomp on delicious balti’s and other stuff.
But, while Brum’s key boast of 2012 is food, Telly Savalas definitely visited* Brum and made a delightful video on how great the city is. So, here it is in all its glory!
Other good things about Brum
- China Town has some brilliant cafes, inc the amazing Cafe Soya
- The Balti Belt
- Other things (mostly food)
*I very much doubt he visited Brum
Apparently there was a huge earthquake in Birmingham last week that devestated the city centre…there was about 8 quids worth of damage done..
I’m basically equating “Salzburg” with “boring” and “fiery death” so I went onto google and the first link for “Salzburg” was a website for self-immolation if you’re too bored to live.
terry savalas died immediately after making that video – brummy disease, by proxy. You’re quite right, though. Salzburg is shite dull.
No, let’s show love to both Salzburg and Brum. You and I need to explore the respective cities and find the good bits. Though I don’t know why I’m sticking up for Brum as…well, it winds me up.
